Scope

This new construction project will include the construction of a new approximately 45,600 SF three-story office building, a three-level 280-space open parking structure, and associated sitework. The office building will provide office space for multiple City of Chesapeake departments, including the Police Department (2nd Precinct), Community Corrections, City Treasurer, Commissioner of the Revenue, City Schools, Human Services Child Welfare, Department of Health, Chesapeake Integrated Behavioral Health, and Parks & Recreation. A small, roughly 1,000 square foot, space on the 2nd Floor will provide co-working offices to be shared by City Planning, Economic Development, and the Land Bank. The 3rd Floor will be left as unfinished future tenant space. The sitework will include new paving, underground utilities, and site lighting.
