This $2.45 million ground-up construction project, delivered in just 8 months through an open market bid, enhances the Sports Center’s operational capacity as a premier sports tourism destination. The one-story facility, designed as a pre-engineered metal building, provides dedicated storage for equipment and supports the center’s bustling event schedule.

Challenge

The project scope encompassed a full suite of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and fire protection, all housed within insulated metal wall panels and topped with a durable standing seam metal roof. Syncon’s team also executed extensive site work, integrating a new Dominion Power feed, access control with drop arms, and fresh paving for employee parking, ensuring seamless functionality and accessibility.
