Scope
The facility was designed by VMDO and Woodard Design and built by another large GC firm. Chris Brandt (Syncon Business Development) was the Executive Vice President at another large GC firm during the entire design and construction. Facility for children’s YMCA summer camp. Outdoor natural wood seating “theatre” for 100 children. 4,000 s.f. Indoor general recreation area.
Challenge
The challenge for this project was the delays caused by the inclement weather.
Solution
Solution was to work all of the exterior Subcontractors on 6-day work weeks. This allowed a total of another 20 workdays to make up for the weather delays. (need photos – exterior photos only)
