This Design-Bid-Build (DBB) project for the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) was conducted on the secure facility of the Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR). The revised renovation scope of the 5,000 SQFT facility included demolition, abatement, a new EPDM roof to include new parapet coping and flashing, significant masonry and concrete repairs to match existing, paint (internal and external), refinished and repaired the concrete floors, new lintels and awnings, electrical power for the entire building and a lighting protection system (LPS).
USACE’s construction manager had the following to comment as note in the Past Performance Questionnaire (PPQ) for this project:
Contractor management was extremely cooperative and professional. Personnel were responsive to the needs of the facility. The contractor completed the original contract work ahead of schedule. Contractor’s efforts resulted in a very successful project with a satisfied customer.
